This Pricing & Business Model Policy describes how payments, fees, and revenue mechanisms operate on the TaskCo Platform.

This policy supplements the TaskCo Terms of Service and governs financial transactions conducted through the Platform.

1. Marketplace Compensation Structure

Task Finders earn compensation for services performed through the TaskCo Platform after a Task has been completed and confirmed by the Task Poster or after the applicable dispute window expires.

When a Task is booked:

The Task Poster authorizes payment through the Platform’s designated third-party payment processor.

The payment processor may place an authorization hold on the total Task amount.

After Task completion is confirmed or the dispute window expires, the payment processor releases the funds to the Task Finder’s payout method.

Payments are released minus applicable Platform Fees, payment processing fees, or other charges disclosed at the time of transaction.

TaskCo does not guarantee Task volume, earnings, or business opportunities for Task Finders.

Marketplace activity may vary based on factors including:

  • user demand
  • geographic location
  • marketplace competition
  • search ranking systems
  • seasonal demand

2. Platform Fees

TaskCo may generate revenue through several fee categories.

Fees will be disclosed before a transaction is finalized.

2.1 Service Fees

TaskCo may charge a service fee of up to fifteen percent (15%) of the Task value for facilitating transactions on the Platform.

The service fee supports:

  • platform infrastructure
  • payment systems
  • fraud prevention
  • customer support
  • marketplace development

Service fee percentages may vary depending on:

  • service category
  • geographic market
  • promotional campaigns
  • marketplace demand conditions

The applicable fee will be disclosed before the transaction is confirmed.

2.2 Payment Processing Fees

Payments are processed through third-party payment processors.

Processing fees may apply depending on:

  • payment method
  • financial institution
  • payment processor pricing

These fees may be deducted from transaction payouts or charged separately.

TaskCo does not control the pricing structure of payment processors.

2.3 Advertising and Promotion Fees

TaskCo may offer optional promotional services including:

  • featured listings
  • promoted profiles
  • sponsored search placement
  • advertising within the Platform

These services may require additional fees which will be disclosed prior to purchase.

Promotional placement does not guarantee bookings, revenue, or marketplace demand.

2.4 Subscription Services

TaskCo may offer optional subscription plans providing additional tools or marketplace advantages including:

  • enhanced profile visibility
  • analytics dashboards
  • business tools
  • lead generation features

Subscription plans may be billed:

  • monthly
  • annually
  • or through other billing cycles disclosed during purchase.

Subscription services may be modified or discontinued at TaskCo’s discretion.

2.5 Withdrawal or Payout Fees

Certain payout methods may involve withdrawal or transfer fees imposed by financial institutions or payment processors.

TaskCo may pass these fees through to Users where applicable.

2.6 Dispute Administration Fees

In certain circumstances where permitted by law, TaskCo may charge administrative fees associated with payment disputes, fraud investigations, or chargeback handling.

3. Fee Recovery Protection (Anti-Circumvention Enforcement)

Users may not attempt to avoid Platform Fees by arranging or completing payments outside the TaskCo Platform.

Circumvention may include:

  • requesting off-platform payments
  • sharing external payment instructions
  • directing users to complete payments outside the Platform

If circumvention occurs, TaskCo may:

  • charge the applicable service fee as if the transaction occurred on the Platform
  • suspend or terminate the accounts involved
  • recover fees or damages where permitted by law

This protection helps maintain fairness for all Users.

4. Payment Flow

The typical transaction process operates as follows:

Task Poster posts or selects a Task.

Task Finder accepts the Task or is selected by the Task Poster.

Task Poster authorizes payment through the payment processor.

Payment processor may place an authorization hold.

Task Finder completes the service.

Task Poster confirms completion or the dispute window expires.

Payment processor releases funds minus applicable fees.

TaskCo does not hold funds directly and does not operate as a bank or escrow service.

5. Transaction Protection and Dispute Handling

TaskCo may provide a dispute resolution process to help Users resolve payment disagreements.

If a dispute is initiated:

  • funds may remain temporarily held by the payment processor
  • both Users may submit evidence such as messages, photos, or documentation
  • TaskCo may review available information

TaskCo may issue a non-binding administrative determination regarding payment distribution.

Possible outcomes include:

  • release of payment to the Task Finder
  • partial refund
  • full refund to the Task Poster

TaskCo’s role is administrative only and does not create liability or contractual responsibility for service outcomes.

6. Marketplace Matching and Discovery Systems

Task Posters may find Task Finders through:

  • search tools
  • automated recommendation systems

These systems may rely on automated algorithms that evaluate factors such as:

10. Platform Ranking and Visibility
